Helping families with children
avoid & overcome homelessness
Every child deserves a safe place to sleep. Stable Families walks with single parents, especially moms, who are at risk of losing their housing or are already without a home. We help families stay together, stay safe, and move toward stability.
You can be part of the solution. It starts right here in Rome, NY.
Who we are
Stable Families is a faith-based nonprofit working to stop family homelessness before it begins.
We serve single-parent families in crisis by walking beside them with support, encouragement, and practical tools that lead to lasting change.
We focus on what truly makes a difference: safe housing, job readiness, budgeting skills, emotional care, and stability for children. Our team partners with local churches, schools, and volunteers to help families not just get by, but move forward with confidence and hope.
